Reporting and evidence

Show clients what changed, what is at risk, and what comes next.

Explore reporting that brings service, endpoint, backup and cost records into the same client review. Start with the decisions your audience needs to make, then check the source and scope of each measure.

A record people can use

Keep the source, owner and next decision together.

Stop rebuilding the client story from disconnected exports.

Give operators and clients one scoped view with drill-down to the underlying work.

Reuse approved report definitions, delivery schedules, and evidence bundles.

Inside the workflow

The work this connects.

Prebuilt operational reports
Cover endpoint, patch, backup, service, asset, security, billing, and customer health views.
Custom report builder
Compose approved metrics, charts, tables, filters, and client drill-downs.
Scheduled delivery
Send authorized reports on a timezone-aware schedule through supported channels.
Evidence bundles
Attach audit, restore, approval, and workflow records to review-ready outputs.
Multiple export paths
Support customer-safe PDF, CSV, email, webhook, API, and portal delivery where enabled.

Illustrative report structure

Review the shape of a customer-safe evidence report.

Use this accessible outline to evaluate the intended scope and review sequence without presenting invented performance values as product output.
01

Operating scope

Audience, reporting period, permitted sources, and observation times.

02

Service and endpoint evidence

Source-linked work, health, actions, and exceptions selected for review.

03

Protection and recovery evidence

Protection state, verification context, and unresolved recovery exceptions.

04

Actions, outcomes, and review notes

Owned follow-up, decision context, and the evidence still requiring confirmation.

This is an illustrative structure, not a generated Dayrook report. It contains no customer data, live metrics, or proof of current report delivery.

Try one useful scenario

A control mapped to its source evidence

Fictional control: “pilot patches reviewed” maps to two device records for a stated week. One is missing a post-install observation, so the packet shows an exception and a named reviewer rather than a pass. Example record: control PATCH-01, period 1–7 October, sources device-A check at 7 October 18:00 UTC and device-B missing check, reviewer Jordan, exception EX-02. A buyer-created CSV could retain those fields; this is not a Dayrook export. Exclude records outside the audience scope, redact identifiers, and keep lawful preservation separate from permission to disclose.

What a useful result must show

Require source IDs, observed times, scope, excluded unauthorized records, exception, owner and export version. Test the recipient’s access separately.

Check the support boundaries
  • Output format and delivery channel
  • Audience permissions and redaction
  • Observation period and stale/missing evidence
  • Framework mapping versus independent assessment

Framework mapping is not certification or accreditation. The downloadable report structure is a planning aid; an actual synthetic-data product export remains unverified. Legal holds and authorized retention take precedence over convenience exports.

Check public evidence and availability →
Scope, availability and evaluation details

A report cannot reveal records the recipient is not authorized to access.

Delivery formats and provider channels remain limited to the applicable release and configured integration.

The proposed $99 monthly model includes the target product scope for evaluation, unlimited technicians, unlimited customers, and the first 50 managed devices. Final terms require confirmation. See transparent pricing →

Connected evidence inputs

Reports can draw from permitted service, endpoint, backup, cloud, billing, compliance, and audit records without copying their underlying access rights.

Governed delivery

Scheduled rendering stores outputs in the selected regional object store and can deliver through SendGrid email, customer portal, webhook, API, PDF, or CSV paths when enabled.

Reporting reads permitted records from service, endpoint, backup, network, cloud, billing, compliance, and audit owners.

Questions, answered

Before you choose your next step.

Can reports be branded for each MSP?

Target design: Approved tenant branding can be applied to customer-facing reports without changing the Dayrook product identity rules.

Can customers view reports in the portal?

Target design: Reports can be delivered to a customer-scoped portal view when the recipient has the required access.

Can we schedule report delivery?

Target design: Schedules include recipient, timezone, format, scope, and delivery evidence.

What data can be combined?

Reporting can draw from permitted RMM, PSA, backup, security, asset, billing, network, cloud, and audit records.

Your next step

Start with a client decision, then the report.

Choose the audience, reporting period and question. Review source freshness, coverage and unresolved gaps before treating the report as a complete picture.
