Privacy Policy

This notice applies to information we handle as a controller for this website and our own customer relationship, security and administrative purposes. Personal data we process solely on a customer’s instructions is instead governed by that customer’s notice and the applicable Data Processing Addendum.

1. Operator and contact

The operator and privacy contact are identified on this page. Contact our legal email for privacy questions, rights requests or complaints. If your information is held in a customer’s managed environment, contact that customer first; we will assist them where we act as their processor.

This notice describes current website practices and, where stated, the administration of a service relationship. It does not claim that every product feature, data region, certification or contracting arrangement is available. Product-specific processing and transfer terms must be established for your purchased service.

2. Information you provide and why we need it

Contact and migration forms collect the details you submit, which can include your name, work or other email address, company, message, selected request region and evaluation context such as requested workflows and scale. We use these details to answer you, assess your request and arrange requested next steps. Supplying requested contact details is necessary for a response; optional details can be omitted. Do not send passwords, private keys, payment-card numbers, health information or confidential incident records through ordinary inquiry forms.

If you permit optional analytics, a broad source and campaign category may accompany an inquiry to help us understand which outreach led to it. Declining or withdrawing analytics permission prevents this optional attribution from being attached to later submissions. Your submitted inquiry content is still sent when you choose to submit the form; it is not included in analytics events.

We receive information directly from you, your authorized colleagues, your browser and the providers involved in your requested interaction. If you communicate by email or book a meeting, we handle the contact and scheduling information shared with us. Sending an inquiry or booking a walkthrough does not subscribe you to a newsletter. Newsletter subscription and partner enrollment are not currently collected through this website.

3. Optional analytics and attention measurements

With your permission, we send PostHog page paths, interaction identifiers, click or pointer coordinates, scroll depth, approximate time that sections are visible in an active tab, browser and viewport information, session identifiers, selected product and assessment categories, coarse device-size bands, backup or storage option flags, and progress through tours, pricing tools and inquiry forms. We use these measurements to understand navigation, confusing sections and abandoned flows. They are engagement indicators, not eye tracking; we do not access a camera or measure where your eyes look.

Website analytics excludes contact details and free-text inquiry contents, URL query strings and fragments. Session recordings, advertising profiles and automatic capture of page text are disabled. Session identifiers are pseudonymous, not a promise that all data is anonymous. Technical internet communication also exposes connection information, such as an IP address, to the receiving service.

Analytics is sent to our US PostHog project. Choosing a US or EU inquiry region does not change that analytics destination. Consent refusals, browser protections, connectivity and provider limits can prevent event capture. We do not bypass your choice to obtain a complete activity record.

4. Cookies, browser storage and your choices

Use Privacy choices in the website footer to permit or decline optional analytics at any time. Only necessary declines it. Optional analytics starts only with a current affirmative choice; a detected Do Not Track setting also prevents it. Withdrawing permission stops future collection and removes the local analytics identity and optional campaign context. It does not by itself erase events previously sent.

Cookies, browser storage and your choices
Storage or servicePurpose and duration
Privacy preferencePurpose and durationStored in this browser so we can respect your decision. It remains until changed, cleared or the notice version requires a new choice.
Functional session statePurpose and durationEvaluation, pricing and interface state keeps the current tab useful. Session storage is intended to last for the tab session, subject to your browser’s restore and clearing behavior.
Optional analytics session statePurpose and durationAn identifier and broad campaign context are stored for the browser-tab session only after permission. They are cleared on withdrawal.
Abuse protection and external servicesPurpose and durationCloudflare handles website delivery and security, and Turnstile processes technical signals under the provider’s disclosed practices. Calendly controls storage on its separate website. Our analytics preference does not control those providers’ own sites.

You can also clear or restrict storage through your browser, although doing so may reset preferences or interrupt useful functionality. We do not use the website analytics configuration for cross-context behavioral advertising or to build advertising profiles. Where applicable law gives broader sale, sharing, targeted-advertising or profiling opt-out rights, you can exercise them through our privacy contact without being required to create an account.

5. Purposes and legal bases

Purposes and legal bases
PurposeInformationBasis where a legal basis is required
Respond to requests and arrange evaluationsInformationContact details, correspondence and requested project contextBasis where a legal basis is requiredSteps you request before a contract where applicable; otherwise legitimate interests in responding to inquiries and communicating with prospective customers.
Optional website measurementInformationConsented interaction and browser/session informationBasis where a legal basis is requiredConsent, which you can withdraw.
Prevent abuse and protect availabilityInformationNetwork, browser, security and challenge informationBasis where a legal basis is requiredLegitimate interests in protecting the service and users; legal obligations where applicable. Optional analytics is not required for this purpose.
Administer an agreed relationshipInformationAccount contacts, orders, invoices, payment status and support correspondence, where a relationship existsBasis where a legal basis is requiredPerformance of the agreement, legitimate business-administration interests and applicable accounting or other legal duties.
Handle rights, disputes and legal dutiesInformationRequest details, verification information and necessary recordsBasis where a legal basis is requiredCompliance with legal obligations and legitimate interests in protecting rights and resolving disputes.

When we rely on legitimate interests, we consider the impact on individuals and applicable rights to object. We do not use website engagement measurements to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you. Operational abuse protection may challenge or block a request; contact us if you believe it has prevented a legitimate inquiry.

6. Who receives information

Authorized personnel and service providers receive information only as needed for the relevant purpose. Current website services include Vultr origin hosting, Cloudflare for website delivery, proxying and security (including Turnstile), PostHog in the US for optional analytics and Calendly for external scheduling. Website and form requests pass through Cloudflare, which receives the request and network information needed to deliver and protect them. A provider may have its own controller responsibilities as described in its notice. Our provider page distinguishes these website services from providers that depend on a separately contracted product or integration.

We may share necessary information with professional advisers, competent authorities where law requires or permits, or parties involved in an actual business reorganization subject to appropriate safeguards and any required notice. We do not make customer inquiries public. A customer administrator or authorized contact may receive information needed to manage their own service relationship.

7. International handling

The operator is registered in the United States. Website analytics is processed in the United States, and external providers may process information in other countries under their disclosed arrangements. An inquiry-region selection is a routing preference, not a guarantee that all website, email, support or provider data stays in that region.

Where applicable law requires a safeguard for an international transfer, the appropriate legal basis and safeguards must be established for that transfer. Available mechanisms can include an applicable adequacy decision or properly completed contractual safeguards. This notice does not itself execute standard contractual clauses, certify us under a privacy framework or establish an EU or UK representative. Ask our privacy contact about the destination and safeguards applicable to your information and how to obtain relevant details.

8. How long information is kept

We keep information only for as long as needed for its stated purpose and applicable legal requirements. The relevant criteria are whether an inquiry is still active, whether a customer relationship or obligation continues, the need to investigate abuse or resolve a dispute, and a specific legal preservation or accounting requirement. A legal hold must relate to the records and purpose that require it; it is not a reason to retain all information indefinitely.

How long information is kept
CategoryRetention criteria
Inquiries and schedulingRetention criteriaFor handling the request and reasonable follow-up, then only while a continuing relationship, dispute or legal obligation requires the record.
Website analyticsRetention criteriaFor useful website analysis, subject to minimization and valid deletion requests. An automatic event-retention limit is not currently enforced in this project; no fixed automatic deletion period is promised.
Security and abuse informationRetention criteriaFor investigating and preventing relevant abuse and meeting any applicable preservation obligation.
Contract, payment and legal recordsRetention criteriaFor the relationship and applicable accounting, tax, dispute or legal-record requirements.
Customer-controlled service dataRetention criteriaUnder the applicable DPA, customer instructions and agreed service-specific retention and offboarding arrangements.

When information is no longer needed, we will delete or irreversibly de-identify it. Backup or legally preserved copies may not disappear immediately; retained copies must remain protected and limited to the reason for retention. Contact us to request deletion or information about the retention of a particular record. We do not represent that every retention or rights request is performed automatically.

9. Access, correction, deletion and other rights

Depending on the law that applies, you may request confirmation of processing, access or a copy, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, information about recipients, and objection to processing. You may withdraw consent without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal. Applicable US laws may also provide sale, sharing, targeted-advertising and certain profiling opt-outs, a right to limit qualifying sensitive-information use, and rights to information about specific third parties or to contest qualifying profiling decisions.

Send a request to the legal email on this page, explaining what you want and the context needed to locate the information. Do not send sensitive identity documents unless we establish that they are necessary and provide an appropriate method. We may reasonably verify identity or an agent’s authority before disclosing, changing or deleting information; we do not require identity verification for every opt-out. We will not unlawfully discriminate or retaliate because you exercise a privacy right.

We will respond within the deadline required by applicable law and explain any lawful extension or refusal. For applicable EEA or UK requests this is generally one calendar month, subject to permitted extensions; many US state laws generally allow 45 days, subject to their conditions. Where an appeal right applies, reply with “Privacy appeal.” We will explain the result within the applicable deadline and provide information about further complaint options.

You can complain to the privacy regulator, attorney general or other competent authority where you live, work or believe an infringement occurred, including your EEA supervisory authority, the UK Information Commissioner, the Canadian privacy authority or an applicable US state authority. You do not have to contact us first where law allows a direct complaint. Consumer and privacy protections are not limited by our Delaware location.

10. Security and children

We limit access to information according to the work being performed and use safeguards appropriate to the processing risk. No website or transmission method can promise absolute security. Do not use ordinary contact forms for credentials or sensitive customer records; request a suitable handling method if your inquiry needs confidential material.

The website is intended for a general audience evaluating IT services, not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13 through it. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where required. Any service involving children’s data requires the appropriate authority, notices and safeguards; this general notice does not supply parental consent.

11. Changes and related documents

The publication date identifies this notice’s current version. We will explain material changes through this page and any additional notice required by law. A materially different optional purpose requires the appropriate new notice and choice before it begins. Your inquiry is not consent to future unrelated marketing.
