In brief
What to carry into your Level evaluation
- Level currently publishes a simple per-endpoint, month-to-month RMM model with its first ten devices free; Dayrook publishes a broader platform base fee and progressive additional-device bands.
- Level is a focused RMM, while Dayrook presents service, backup, credential, network, cloud, infrastructure, billing, reporting, and governance functions beside endpoint operations.
- Level may be the better focused RMM choice and Dayrook may be the better consolidation choice. Include the surrounding stack before deciding.

| Decision area | Dayrook | Level |
|---|---|---|
| Commercial model | Base platform fee, included devices, progressive additional-device bands, unlimited technicians and customers, protected SaaS users, and excess pooled storage. | Per-endpoint monthly billing, a free tier through ten devices, no contract, and custom bulk pricing for larger fleets. |
| Platform center | Endpoint management within a wider service, protection, credentials, network, Microsoft cloud, infrastructure, commercial, governance, and evidence layer. | Browser-based RMM for Windows, macOS, and Linux across monitoring, remote control, background management, patching, scripting, automation, inventory, reporting, integrations, and an API. |
| Surrounding stack | Verify that the broader target workflows meet the depth and current release status your MSP requires. | Include the PSA, billing, backup, password, security, network, Microsoft cloud, reporting, and customer-evidence tools the MSP still requires. |

Know when each approach may fit better
Dayrook may fit better when
You want one broader operating layer, unlimited technician access, progressive device bands, pooled backup economics, and connected service, commercial, cloud, network, infrastructure, approval, and evidence workflows.
Level may fit better when
You want a focused, transparent, month-to-month RMM for supported Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints, and you are comfortable retaining or selecting separate PSA and adjacent products.
Keep both on the shortlist when
You need to compare Level plus the remaining stack against Dayrook's wider scope and verify endpoint depth, integrations, support, migration, governance, and recovery in both designs.

Apply Level's current billing rule correctly
As reviewed October 10, 2026, Level's official pricing and documentation state that accounts with ten or fewer endpoints are free; once an account reaches eleven, $2 per device per month applies to the full device count. Billing uses the month's peak device count, is month-to-month, includes platform features, and offers volume terms by quotation. The pricing page and help article show different thresholds; contact Level for current volume terms. Verify the live page because these terms can change after this review date.
Compare Level plus every required external system with Dayrook's proposed base fee, included devices, progressive device bands, protected SaaS users, pooled backup storage, excess storage, and customer-paid AI provider. Confirm final Dayrook terms; a focused RMM line item is not a complete-platform total.
- Model the monthly peak endpoint count and the threshold transition from the free tier to billing for the full device count.
- Request current bulk terms for a qualifying fleet and record support, onboarding, taxes, renewal, cancellation, and payment assumptions.
- Add PSA, billing, backup, security, password, network, Microsoft cloud, documentation, reporting, AI, and integration costs required beside Level.
- Include administration, automation and policy recreation, connector maintenance, dual running, training, audit evidence, and exit work for both options.
Migrate endpoint control without losing service context
- Inventory devices, supported operating systems, groups, tags, monitors, alerts, scripts, automations, patch policies, software data, reports, users, roles, API keys, webhooks, and PSA or documentation integrations.
- Use a supported deployment path from the existing RMM or management system, then verify agent identity, connectivity, policy, permissions, remote access, monitoring, patch state, and device counts.
- Prevent duplicate alerts and ticket creation during coexistence, preserve remote-support coverage, rotate API keys, and keep a tested uninstall and rollback procedure.
- Pilot Windows, macOS, and Linux cohorts that represent your fleet, including offline devices, failures, restarts, automation, patching, remote access, and integration events.
- Reconcile the monthly peak count, final exports, reporting, old-agent removal, integration shutdown, access revocation, retention, deletion, and customer communication.
Test endpoint depth and the full operating chain
Run the same discovery, monitoring, alert, automation, patching, remote-support, reporting, API, integration-failure, access-denial, and agent-recovery scenarios in both products. Then run the service, billing, backup, network, cloud, and customer-evidence workflows across the complete proposed stack.
A focused product can be the right choice without matching a full suite. Decide from weighted, observed scenarios and total operating cost—not the number of category labels.
