In brief
What to carry into your ConnectWise evaluation
- ConnectWise publishes package details but directs RMM, PSA, backup, security, and service buyers to a tailored quote; Dayrook publishes one progressive device model with unlimited technicians and customers.
- ConnectWise offers a broad platform, product, service, and marketplace ecosystem. A fair comparison must identify the exact package and connected products rather than compare company-level category lists.
- Use written scope, matched workflows, integration ownership, implementation effort, contract terms, and exit evidence to decide—there is no universal winner.

Know when each approach may fit better
Dayrook may fit better when
You prefer to evaluate proposed device-led economics, unlimited console users, and one operating model across endpoint, service, backup, credentials, network, cloud, infrastructure, reporting, and governed automation.
ConnectWise may fit better when
You value its established platform, marketplace, ScreenConnect, PSA and RMM package choices, optional expert services, and cybersecurity or data-protection portfolio—and the resulting quote and implementation model fit your MSP.
Keep both on the shortlist when
You need to prove whether one unified order or a selected product set gives better workflow continuity, support coverage, integration ownership, and long-term economics for your actual environment.

Model the quote and the total stack cost
ConnectWise's official pricing page currently routes buyers to quotes for its RMM, PSA, backup, cybersecurity, expert-service, and related offers. Its current RMM page describes a ConnectWise RMM package, optional add-ons and a personalized quote; it does not list the previously named Essentials, Pro and Premium tiers. Do not infer a final unit price from a product list; obtain a dated quote that identifies units, minimums, packages, services, support, billing, and commitment.
Compare the quoted total with Dayrook's proposed platform fee, included devices, progressive device bands, protected SaaS users, excess pooled storage, and customer-paid AI provider. Confirm final Dayrook terms and include every external product, internal owner, integration, implementation service, training activity, renewal assumption, and exit task.
- List the exact ConnectWise RMM, PSA, ScreenConnect, reporting, automation, CPQ, backup, security, NOC, help-desk, and support components required.
- Record the billing unit, minimum fee, quantity bands, package, implementation, service hours, support level, commitment, renewal, and cancellation terms from the current quote.
- Model devices, users or technicians, protected workloads, storage, integrations, expert services, and expected growth over the same period.
- Add dual running, configuration, data migration, training, report rebuilding, marketplace connector maintenance, and usable exit exports.
Build a product-by-product migration checklist
- Map companies, contacts, configurations, assets, tickets, SLAs, agreements, time, projects, invoices, opportunities, quotes, reports, credentials, scripts, policies, agents, and integrations to their current system of record.
- Confirm API and export access, attachments, historical limits, custom fields, reference IDs, relationships, permissions, and reconciliation reports for every selected ConnectWise product.
- Plan ScreenConnect and RMM agent coexistence, duplicate alert control, patch and automation recreation, service-desk cutover, billing parallel run, and customer communications.
- Pilot a customer that exercises technical and commercial workflows, verify results and denials, then move by controlled cohort with an explicit rollback point.
- Test final export, archive access, integration shutdown, credential rotation, agent removal, retention, deletion, and contract exit before retiring the old stack.
Run the same proof script in both platforms
Demonstrate alert-to-ticket, dispatch, remote work, approved remediation, invoice evidence, onboarding, backup recovery, reporting, security escalation, integration failure, and customer offboarding under the exact package being priced.
Separate observed capabilities, contract commitments, optional services, roadmap statements, and unknowns. Weight the results against your MSP's priorities before deciding.
